Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She is also the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is believed that she was the one responsible for initiating the modern study of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and also children's witnesses. Professor Goodman, who has numerous papers and awards to her credit she is also the winner of numerous international and national prizes. She has offered consulting on research and policy for numerous government agencies and departments across the world. She acts as consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a part of a variety of professional organizations, including Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is a member of Psychonomics Society, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member, International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman has been president of three divisions (Division Society for Policy on Child and Family as well as Practice Division of the American Psychology-Law Society as well as Division Developmental Psychology) and one section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
